The inaugural seaplane flight between Katunayake and Colombo, with Beira Lake serving as a water airport, is scheduled for today (03).
The ceremony will be held in the morning near the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, under the patronage of the Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation, Mr. Bimal Ratnayake.
A Cinnamon Airlines aircraft will land on Beira Lake during the inauguration, symbolizing a new chapter in Colombo’s aviation connectivity.
