Sri Lanka featured prominently at the Miss Polski 2026 grand final gala, held in the historic Polish city of Nowy Sącz and broadcast live across the country on Polsat. Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Poland, Priyangika Dharmasena, attended the glittering event as the Guest of Honour, which showcased dynamic dance and musical performances, contestant introductions, and stylish dress parades.
The gala followed an extensive promotional tour hosted by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau from June 7 to 17, during which all 24 finalists and their production crew explored the island. The pageant’s bikini segment was filmed on location across Sri Lanka, highlighting its world-class scenic attractions and generating substantial national media coverage throughout Poland.
During the grand final, a dedicated presentation on Sri Lanka was screened to millions of viewers. The showcase captured the contestants’ first-hand experiences, local hospitality, and photo shoots across exotic locations, further enhancing Sri Lanka’s profile as a premier global tourism destination.
The crown went to Wiktoria Ptak, who now qualifies to represent Poland at the Miss Supranational pageant. Along with her title and cash prize, she received two round-trip air tickets to Sri Lanka for an all-inclusive ten-day visit, awarded by the organizers in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Warsaw.
